Medical Fitness Training

At our practice, one can participate in Medical Fitness Training. This training takes place in our exercise gym and is possible with a prescription from a General Practioner or other medical specialist (depending on the regulations of your insurance company). Medical Fitness Training is given under the supervision of a PT and concentrates both on your general fitness as well as any specific musculoskeletal issues you might have. The training consists of exercises on machines where the resistance comes from air pressure and thus constant through the exercise. Each session is directed through the use of a chip card and is set up for each individual. The chip card gives the resistance, rest time, number of series and number of repetitions for each machine. There is also a professional quality stationary bicycle, a treadmill and a Fitvibe vibration plate.

Private Fitness Training

There is also the opportunity to partake in private fitness training. This occurs in small groups at set times. Because space is limited in the gym, the groups are limited to maximal five people. The trainings are made for each person individually and are put on a chip card by the supervising therapist. In this way, persons at different fitness levels can train within the same group. The trainings are adjusted regularly with the input of the client so that each individual’s fitness goals can be achieved. Adjustments in the training scheme can be made in the case of a mild injury so that the training does not have to be completely stopped, resulting in a dramatic decline in fitness level.
The presence of a therapist during the training necessitates fixed training times (morning and evening groups). For times and availability, please contact us.
